Welcome to the New Earth!

What is this deep mystery that pulses through this body … this that breathes through each breath … this that feels through every feeling? What is this vast and unimaginable force that brings life, consciousness and awareness to all that it courses through? What is this that our thoughts call “me”? And how could this vast, infinite and deeply impersonal presence even be hinted at as a “me”? What is this?

Looking out, as far as the eye can see and as far as the inner eye can imagine … it’s all this same “one”. Looking in, as far back as we dare to look … it’s here … vast, unfathomable, infinite, eternal, breathtakingly incomprehensible. And we dare to call this “me”?

This deep mystery that peers through these eyes limits itself into our thinking mind as a thought, an idea, an image of “me” and for most of us, this goes unchallenged until the day we die.

What happens if this that flows through all form, including “me” and “you”, what happens if this is explored … unmasked? Where will it lead us?

I don’t know. “I” will never know the truth of this foreverness, this that sits at the heart of all of existence. In abandoning the search to know intellectually, we venture into new territory, into uncharted waters where perception shifts from thinking and feeling to formless sensing … the instantaneous awareness of what is before we begin to think about it. This takes place before time takes hold of it … it’s profoundly present yet ungraspable, unreachable, untouchable with our minds.

But it can be “seen” … it can be “known” … In fact, it’s always already seeing, always already knowing … without any content.

It’s a felt sense that feels before it’s felt, seen before it’s seen, known before it’s known … it’s “seen the moment you look, free the moment it’s seen…” every moment.

So what is This? This deep, vast, great mystery of being at play here? What is it?

It is our true nature, always forever here, always forever present … simply seeing, knowing and being in this totally unimaginable way.

Come back to This … honour This … it’s what you really are, always have been and always will be. Release the “known” and allow this unimaginable unknown to be your constant “felt reality”. It’s always, forever now … welcome to the New Earth!

We exist in eternity
Dreaming we are caught in time.
We embody infinity
Yet dream we are confined in space.

What a trick …
What a Master Illusion this is.

We purposefully limit
And confound ourselves
So we may experience
What is beyond experience.

Love calls …
We prick up our ears
Our hearts open
And we listen.

If we open up enough
It all turns upside down and outside in.
And we “see” what can’t be seen
And “hear” what can’t be heard.
And feel what is beyond feeling’s grasp.

Eternity breathes
Infinity awakens
And life is witnessed as Itself.
Aware, awake and alive …
Fully alive forever now.

When the conundrum
Of this Master Illusion
Is seen through
We are at risk of realising Truth.

Ah what a joyously empty surprise!

There Really is Nothing Else

We are at a pivotal moment in time and place, this point where all roads converge ... we are here, right here, right now. This moment is radiating with Presence, it's awash with beingness ... simply being as it is.
When God dreams, form manifests. And this form is you, me and all of life. It's all God in expression, yet for so many it's nothing but misery. Why? It's not yet seen that the misery is only in our own minds. Our own thinking is what separates us from Heaven. Obvious to those who see this, yet a vast chasm of darkness exists between ourselves and this realisation, until it's seen. Then it all vanishes and what reveals itself is the simple yet obvious truth that God is dreaming us into being ... moment by moment.
If you are still seeking your own realisation of God's omnipresence, simply stop for a moment. Breathe in, and as you do rise up gently to the top of the breath ... pause here ... now look, simply look ... listen ... and on the out breath ... allow, simply allow everthing to be just as it is. Try it again ... Deep gentle breath in ... pause at the top of the breath ... look ... listen ... now, gently letting go on the out breath ... allow. One more time ... breathe in ... pause ... look ... listen ... and on the out breath ... allow. Notice where you are, how you feel. There's now a gentle sweet awareness with you, as if looking over your shoulder, but actually seeing through your eyes and feeling through your heart. You are being lived. This is that vast, infinite and eternal expanse that is always present but not always noticed. This is the "What is looking" in Rumi's contemplation seed: "What you are looking for is what is looking." ... You/It.
And this is the eternal cosmic dance we all dance, whether we know it yet or not ...
Here's a thought: You were created because God wanted a dancing partner.
You are here to be the instrument for sharing this vast and eternal presence. If you know this, then life is lived for This, as This. And every action within it is actually God loving, as we go about it. It's a humbling thought ...This You/It realisation. You already are all that you seek. When this is seen, clarity becomes a constant companion ... even in the unclear moments. Not the knowledge of the mind but the clear peace of the heart. And this allows all life to be as it is, allows all people to be as they are.
Right now, right here, where all roads converge ... we find ourselves. And this is how it is at every convergence, in every moment. Past, present and future all converge right here ... in this very moment. What do you see, what do you feel, what do you know?
Whatever it is, wherever you are ... it's perfect just as it is.
Trust this ... there really is nothing else.

We are all watching our own self-made movie. Each thought and emotion, a single frame that has no real power on its own, but once strung together and put into motion, creates the greatest spell ever imagined … and we create it all, we partake in it all, drawing forth from the well of our hearts the feeling that drives us on and keeps us spellbound.

When the thoughts slow down enough, we catch a glimpse of the emptiness between frames … and the illusion is temporarily halted, this is meditation.

When the thoughts stop completely … the empty vast, pure and complete canvas is revealed for what it is – God’s love.

If, as the film is rolling, we are able to “know” the samsaric nature of what is being witnessed, we can still experience all the depth of emotion that the movie shares, but we know we are the movie’s creator. We are witnessing our own minds in movement, we create the movie, we roll the film, we view it, we react to it, we entertain ourselves by our self-made drama, and so it goes, on and on and on … until that moment when the spell is finally broken, when we “see” the truth of what’s really taking place here.

All of it. Absolutely all of it is a fabrication of our own minds, of our own imagination … every single bit of it …. “something” manifesting out of “nothing”.

When this is seen through, there’s no more hiding, no more pretending, for we now “know”.

Yet, the movie keeps on playing; the thoughts and emotions keep on rolling, creating this semblance of reality.

We don’t run from it though, we now allow it … watch it, enjoy it, feel it in all its glory and open up to the miraculousness of it all.

Not by ourselves, but with everyone. For all and everything exists in this movie. Every living, breathing creature of God is in here with you … one with you.

We may well have witnessed the reality of our own creation but we also realise with it, our unity with all that is. Separation is no longer real. It’s all happening in here … right here … You, me and everything else being co-created in this grand spectacle, this magnificence within my/your … our mind.

Honour this. Love this. Share this.

Bring Your Heart in Today

Bring your heart in today.
Too often we lose ourselves in our heads.
Life loves balance.
God is here, why not play your part in allowing for This everpresence to be seen ... to be felt?
Your loved ones will notice it especially.
Bring your heart in today.
It doesn't take much really ... just be present.
In being present, listen.
In listening, feel.
Feel and allow ...
The greatest way to show your love is to see the people in your life
Bring your heart in today ...
Watch what happens as you do.
Little things will start to shine.
Those simple, gentle, sweet moments so easily overlooked.
Breathe as you notice ... feel as you listen.
Let yourself be touched by life in this very natural way.
Bring your heart in today.
